The Yuletide Ball Winter Formal tickets will be limited to 250 tickets.  This event size will not be nearly as large as the Prom; this will allow for a more intimate, cozy, warm, and formal feeling.  We will host this event at the Roundhouse in Downtown Huntsville.  Attendees are allowed to purchase tickets for this formal starting in 8th grade, age 13, up to age 19.  This is a true ball; formal clothing is required.  We will have our fantastic DJ who will play various music, including current hits, Christmas music,  and even music for formal ballroom dancing.  There will be refreshments, including a taste of Hogwart's favorite holiday feast,  The Three Broomsticks' famous Butter Beer, Hot Chocolate, and maybe a few surprises.  Tickets for the ball will go on sale in September.

What is the Yuletide Ball?  Well, at Hogwarts, according to Professor McGonagall, the Yule Ball has been a tradition of the tri-wizard tournament since its inception. On Christmas Eve, guests gather in the great hall for well-mannered frivolity. The Yule Ball is, first and foremost, a dance. The last part rings true for us, but we are celebrating the Christmas season as it is the most wonderful time of the year! The Yuletide Ball is a Harry Potter-themed Christmas Celebration and Winter Formal.

How much are tickets?  Early bird 25.00 Regular Price 30.00 Last Minute 35.00

What age group is the Yuletide Ball for? Attendees can purchase tickets for this formal event starting in 8th grade, age 13, to age 19.  

What should I wear? This is a true ball; formal clothing is required.  

Optional wear the color of your Hogwarts House

Gryffindor- red, Ravenclaw-Blue,  Hufflepuff-yellow, Slytherin-Green

If you don't know your house. Ask the Sorting Hat!

Will there be food? Yes, we will have plenty of appetizers, holiday favorites like roast and turkey, and Christmas desserts and pastries. Drinks will be served throughout the evening. Hot food will be served the first few hours after that we will have light snacks.

Will there be music and a DJ?  We will have our fantastic DJ who will play various music, including current hits, Christmas music,  and even music for formal ballroom dancing.  All songs on the DJ's set list are "clean" or "radio" versions.  Please remember that music is open to interpretation and is currently playing on local radio stations.  Additional song requests may be emailed to [email protected]. Please remember that song requests do not guarantee your song will be played.  

Will there be a photographer?  No, but there will be plenty of places for you to take your own photos.  

TERMS

•    Timeless Homeschool Events has a ZERO tolerance policy for alcohol, drugs, smoking, or misconduct. Our chaperones will escort anyone necessary from the dance, and parents will be notified.

•    NO weapons, including any gun or knife, of any sort, any kind, in any form, are allowed on the premises for any reason whatsoever.  We understand some people carry pocket knives and mace; these items may be checked in at the help desk before entering the event and returned at the end before leaving.  

•    Public displays of affection are unacceptable. This includes sitting on laps, making out, and inappropriate dancing (grinding, moshing, dirty dancing, twerking, etc.)

•    If you leave the dance early, you may not return.

•    Outside food and drink are not allowed.

•    Any complaints or concerns should be brought directly to a Planning Committee member or chaperone.

•     Please print your ticket before arriving at the event. 

•    Enjoy yourself and be considerate of everyone else!

Security- Huntsville Police and Venue Security officer will be present. Please be advised that we do not allow large bags or backpack. We use metal detector for all attendees. We have parent volunteers walk the perimeter of the venue as well as the parking lots. Along with police and security our staff of volunteers watch all outside areas as well as entrance and exit doors.

Please note:  By purchasing a ticket and attending Timeless Homeschool Events, you acknowledge he/she could be in photographs and videos that will be made to share photo memories on our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, website, and in print.

Refund Policy: Tickets are Non-Refundable. Please make sure you can attend before buying a ticket.

Credit Card Charge Backs- If you do a credit card chargeback, you will not be allowed to buy an online ticket EVER again for any event. If we have tickets available, you will have to pay cash at the door. Cashbacks hurt our standing with the credit card company. Too many chargebacks, even if challenged by us, can result in us losing our payment processor. TICKETS ARE NON REFUNDABLE. If you have a problem with your ticket order, please contact us.
